NEW PLYMOUTH - Requiem Mass for James Fitzsimons, 91, New Plymouth, was celebrated Wednesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Mr. Fitzsimons died Sunday at the Payette Valley Sanitarium.
Celebrant was the Rev. Fr. Dionel Buote. Rosary was recited Tuesday at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory chapel in New Plymouth. Interment was at Park View cemetery.
He was born January 28, 1877, in Illinois and moved to Nebraska with his family. He married Lillie Meyers and they farmed for a number of years in Nebraska. She preceded him in death. He came to New Plymouth in 1936 and has resided here since.
He was a member of the Catholic church.
Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Stella Fitzsimons, and Mrs. George Wood, both of New Plymouth; and several great nephews and nieces.
