Rites Held Tuesday For Clara Lingel
Funeral services for Clara Isabel Lingel, 82, New Plymouth, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the New Plymouth Shaffer Memory Chapel by the Rev. Robert Cooper. Interment followed at Park View in New Plymouth.
Born May 25, 1882, at Cummingsville, Neb., she came to the New Plymouth community from Nebraska and was married to Edward Lingel at Albion, Neb., Dec. 24, 1903. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Wayne, New Plymouth and Lester, Caldwell; four daughters, Mrs. Gwennerva Peterson, Meridian, Mrs. Alta Hansen and Mrs. Isabel Brooks, both Boise, and Mrs. Anna Laura Van Zee, San Francisco; one brother, Joe Raglan, Elgin, Neb., 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Her husband died in 1958.
