Henry Feldscher

Henry Feldscher, an old time resident of this community, passed away at St. Luke's hospital in Boise Tuesday, February 12. He suffered a stroke which was followed by pneumonia. The body was brought to Landon Funeral parlor in Payette. Funeral services in charge of the Odd Fellow Lodge were held at the Christian church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 and interment was made in Riverside cemetery.

Henry Feldscher was born in New York City, March 18, 1859, and died in Boise, February 12, 1935. Being of an adventurous nature, he made two trips to Germany when only seventeen. His next move was into Ohio where he mastered the blacksmith trade. Desirous of seeing the west, he mved to Frontier county, Nebraska, where he met Kate Williard, whom he married in June 1889. To this union was born three children, one girl and two boys.

In 1903 Mr. Feldscher located in Payette where he followed his trade until 1910, when he became engaged in farming and dairying up to the time of hism passing.

To mourn his loss he leaves two sons, Lou L. of this city and Harry C. of Redwood City, Calif., four grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Carrie Wecker of Whitestone, N. Y., a brother Fred of College Point, N. Y., and a host of close friends.
