Mrs. Pauline Ficke Buried Saturday
Funeral services were held at St. John's Evangelical church last Saturday for Mrs. Pauline Rippe Ficke, who passed away January 16. Rev. A.F. Leinkaemper officiated and Landon's Funeral home had charge of the arrangements. Interment was made at the Riverside cemetery.
Mrs. Ficke was born Feb. 14, 1872 at St. Louis, Mo. and was married to Herman Ficke at Salt Lake City, Utah in 1900. They came to Payette 44 years ago and Mr. Ficke passed away in 1937. Deceased is survived by five sons, Arthur B? of Moscow, Paul A. of Salem, Ore, Harold of Santa Clara, Calif., Charles H. of New York, and Herman O. of Libbey, Montana ; one daughter, Miss Alice Ficke of Los Angeles, Cal., four sisters, Mrs. Anna Beech of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Minnie Doerr of Denver, Colo., Miss Nettie Ripe and Mrs. S. Schiegel of St. Louis, Mo., and three brothers, Herman and Charles Rippe, also of St. Louis.
Note: the obituary says three brothers but two brothers were listed.
